Judging & Invigilation
Our friends at Awardify have a set of systems in place to analyze and detect fraudulent voting patterns and enables us to take action when questionable practices are being used - like vote farming.
Our internal team of Event specialists are experienced in running platforms like the BIPOC Foundation Excellence Awards and will ensure that a fair and wholly scrutinized process is upheld for the enjoyment of all participants and BIPOC Foundation community members.
The Excellence Awards provides us with a chance to showcase how amazing the Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour communities are and how we possess the talent, drive, and resourcefulness to lead economies prosperously. Our initiative focuses on BIPOC entrepreneurship and businesses for this 2nd Annual iteration and our plan is to continue to grow these opportunities as we continue serving traditionally underrepresented and underanticipated groups throughout Western Canada.
*After the public voting takes place and Finalists determined, the BIPOC Foundation Excellence Awards team will reach out to confirm the next steps and unlock the Phase 2 applications for them. These applications consist of 8-10 questions depending on category and are meant to further demonstrate how the business or entrepreneur is embodying the standards of excellence and reaching the various eligibility criterion while making consistent impacts for their customers and communities.
**Our panel of expert judges will be scoring submissions on a scale of 100 and the questions provided in the Phase 2 applications will disclose the weighting of each question.
Winners will receive a service prize package valued at $1,000.00, a commemorative trophy, and profiling through BIPOC Foundation and select partners.
